The Rutgers School of Business Executive Education is very proud to introduce the Small Business Success program,  a new and innovative approach to assisting small business owners realize their dreams of building a successful and profitable business.

This 8 week certificate program has been developed to provide the tools, concepts and strategies to create a successful business. The focus of the curriculum, the level of the course content, the live webinar instructions, reading assignments, case studies and classroom discussions have been focused on existing small business owners and key management. This program is also beneficial to virtually anyone in a managerial role at any level within an organization. It is also an excellent resource for entrepreneurs considering their first venture.

The Small Business Success program has stripped down much of the nonessential jargon, buzzwords, complicated ratios and unrealistic expectations. Our goal over an eight week period is to assist you as you build on the strengths of your company, understand and improve on your weaknesses while developing a plan to achieve success. You will evaluate your own capabilities as an owner, manager and decision maker. Our goal is to transition from not just an effective manager but an effective leader.

This hands-on, interactive 8-week course includes weekly reading assignments from e-learning courses and best-selling business books, two individual written assignments, and one team project that involves developing and presenting a sales proposal for a prospect.

This program is geared towards existing small business owners, looking to revitalize, expand or increase profitability of their business.

The Small Business Success program concentrates on the basics of what makes a business stable through operations and financial control. We will challenge you as you evaluate your core practices in business development, marketing strategies, personnel, operations, product/service offerings and customer service. You will evaluate the financial strength of your company, develop financial controls, determine capital requirements to stabilize and/or grow, and understand the process of developing realistic cash projections.

Bob presently serves as Vice President of Finance and Operations of a Full Service Marketing Company specializing in video productions. Bob also serves as a Business Consultant with the Rutgers Small Business Development Center assisting clients in start up, business planning and general business advice. He has a passion for helping individuals and businesses succeed to their fullest potential.
