How to log into Canvas:
If you don’t receive an email from Rutgers Canvas within 24 hours of registration, use this link and log in using the email address you registered with. Please be sure to select “Email Login” not “NetID Login”. If that doesn’t work, please contact us directly.
How to navigate Canvas:
Percipio
Most of our online learning programs use Percipio based content as part of the program. To verify whether or your program does or does not, you would find that information in the “E-Learning” Section in “Modules” when logged into Canvas.
How to log into Percipio:
If your program does including using Percipio, visit our site here. Your user ID is the full e-mail address you provided when registering. Your temporary password is: Rutgers1766 – you’ll be prompted to change this password on your first log-in.
How to navigate in Percipio:
Your Personal Learning Coach’s (PLC) Role is:
- To provide a critical, human dimension to your E-Learning experience
- To lend his/her subject-matter expertise, and mentoring abilities, to enrich the value you receive from your Certificate program
- To facilitate the successful, on-time completion of your Certificate program
Your PLC is charged with achieving this role by:
- Conducting regular, reliable communication and feedback with you – this will include e-mail communications, phone calls, and engaging you in substantive, subject-matter-related, real-time phone or Internet sessions. Your PLC may, at their discretion, request or suggest additional sessions.
- Encouraging you to keep and/or return you to the path to successful, on-time completion of your program
- Monitoring your online progress.
- Reporting obstacles to your successful, on-time completion of your program, including lack of acceptable engagement in exchanges with them, or lack of significant activity in your online Learning Journey.
- Responding to your unscheduled e-mails or phone calls, should questions or issues come up.
Your PLC’s role is not:
- To troubleshoot technical issues or problems you may have while using your online coursework and other learning assets – please contact Technical Support (available 24/7 via phone and online chat) for these issues – let your PLC know if your problem has not been resolved and he/she will contact our central office to get your problem solved.
- To provide career- or other counseling, beyond sharing expertise and advice he/she has with you to help connect what you are learning with how to apply it in your current/future work environment.
